There are two main types of color options: Multi-Color and Single Color. Multi-Color foam glow sticks have (6) available flashing modes. Go through the (6) modes simply by pressing the button:

Mode 1: Multi-color quick flashing
Mode 2: Multi-color automatic color changing
Mode 3: Multi-color steady light (no flashing)
Mode 4: Flashing Red
Mode 5: Flashing Blue
Mode 6: Flashing Green

Batteries are installed & replaceable!
